SPEAKER 1 Imagine getting a warning that could literally save your life. Not from a weatherman or a news alert, but from heaven itself. That's what the three angels' messages are. They're not just mysterious prophecies, they are God's final call, loving call, to wake up a sleeping world. And today, we're going to see why they matter more than ever for your life and your future. The Three Angels' messages are not just for theologians or scholars. They are for you, for me, and for every person alive today. They answer the big questions: what is truth? in the last days? How do I stand faithful? What side am I on? In Revelation 4:6-12 we find God's final message of mercy to the world. It comes in three parts, each one symbolized by an angel flying in the midst of heaven. Each angel cries out with a loud voice, meaning this is urgent. These messages are sent just before Jesus returns. In fact, immediately after the three angels, Revelation 14:14 describes Jesus coming on the clouds to reap the harvest of the earth. That tells us something. The three angels' messages are God's final call. It's heaven's last attempt to prepare the world for Jesus' second coming. So what do these angels say? Let's explore each one briefly and simply. Revelation 14:6-7 says, and I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. There are four key ideas. in the first angel's message. Number one, the everlasting gospel. This message begins with the good news, salvation through Jesus Christ. This is not a new gospel. It's the everlasting one, the same gospel that saves sinners, that transforms lives, and that offers hope and peace through Jesus. Before warning of deception and judgment, God proclaims His love and grace. Number two, fear God and give Him glory. This doesn't mean to be terrified of God. In the Bible, fearing God means revering Him, respecting Him, and submitting to His will. Giving God glory means reflecting His character in how we live, eat, work, speak, and treat others. Number 3. The hour of His judgment has come. This is one of the most urgent statements in all of Scripture. It tells us that God's judgment is not coming, it has already begun. Based on Daniel chapter 8 verse 14 and the prophecies of 1844, it shows that we are now living in the final judgment phase, often called the investigative judgment. Jesus is now in the heavenly sanctuary interceding on our behalf. This is a time for serious spiritual reflection and total surrender to Christ. Number four, worship the Creator. This is a direct call back to the Sabbath commandment found in Exodus 20:8-11, which reminds us that God created the world in six days, He rested on the seventh day Sabbath, blessed it and hallowed it. In a world that has forgotten the Creator, this message calls us to remember Him, to honor His Sabbath, and to worship Him in truth. The First Angel's message is about restoring true worship. and calling us out of spiritual confusion. Revelation 14:8 says, and there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city! because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. This is the second angel's message. It declares that Babylon has fallen. But who? Or what is Babylon? Babylon is a symbol used throughout the Bible to represent spiritual confusion, false systems of worship, and religious corruption. In Revelation, Babylon represents the apostate religion, systems that claim to follow God but actually promote human tradition over God's commandments. Babylon represents religious systems that confuses truth with error, and it leads people away from God's Word. The Bible. This message is a warning and an invitation. It warns that Babylon is spiritually bankrupt, and it invites God's people to come out to leave behind false worship and return to the clear teachings of Scripture. This theme is repeated in Revelation 18:4. And I heard another voice from heaven saying, Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. God is calling His people out of confusion and into truth. Now comes the most solemn warning in all of Scripture. Revelation 14:9-10 says, if anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or in his hand, He himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God. This is the third angel's message. It warns against false worship, the mark of the beast, and alignment with powers of deception. But what is the mark of the beast? It's not a microchip or a barcode. It's about worship. In contrast to those who worship the Creator and keep His Sabbath, those who receive the mark of the beast follow man-made laws and traditions in opposition to God's commandments. This message is serious, but it's not just about what to avoid. It's about loyalty to Jesus Christ. Revelation 14:12 gives us the beautiful conclusion saying, Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. God is calling a people who will stand firm. In love, not fear. In truth, not confusion. In loyalty to Christ, not compromise with the world. So why do the three angels' messages matter today? Because they prepare us for the return of Jesus. They show us how to stand on the side of truth. They call us out of confusion and compromise. They bring us back to Christ, to the gospel, to the commandments, and the cross. The three angels' messages are God's final invitation of love to a dying world. You and I have a choice. We can follow the crowd, or we can follow the Lamb. We can stay in Babylon, or we can come out into the light. We can fear man, or we can fear God and give him glory. The angels are flying. The messages are loud and time is running out. But The good news is Jesus is still calling. Will you listen? Will you follow? Will you stand? May you not only understand these messages, but live them, love them, and share them. Because this is the truth the world desperately needs. And it starts with you. In the next video, I'll discuss what the everlasting gospel is all about in the first angel's message. At 3ABN Australia Radio, we believe truth still matters. And the message of the three angels is truth worth sharing.
